I mainly use climate and cloud-resolving models (SAM, E3SM, ICON, ECHAM-HAM) to answer questions about different types of high clouds (anvil clouds, deep convective clouds, stratiform cirrus clouds), their micro- and macrophysical properties, radiative and climatic effects. I have also investigated the feasibility of cirrus cloud modification (a.k.a. cirrus seeding or cirrus thinning) to partially counteract global warming.
