I mainly use climate and cloud-resolving models (SAM, E3SM, ICON, ECHAM-HAM) to answer questions about different types of high clouds (anvil clouds, deep convective clouds, stratiform cirrus clouds), their micro- and macrophysical properties, radiative and climatic effects. I have also looked into the feasibility of cirrus cloud modification (a.k.a. cirrus seeding or cirrus thinning) to partially counteract global warming (and we are back on the topic, now with the high resolution models).

These days, I just try to work on any interesting (cold) clouds-and-climate-related topic I stumble upon.
